Sliced chicken breast, romaine lettuce, pico de gallo, tortilla strips, and cotija cheese make up El Pollo Loco's Caesar Salad, but it is the fantastic creamy cilantro dressing that gets the raves. Simply combine these basic ingredients in a blender and you'll soon have more than one cup of the delicious dressing cloned and ready to pour over any of your home salad creations.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 4 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon diced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon diced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin

    • Instructions
      Put all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until the dressing turns light green. Cover and chill dressing until you're ready to serve it.

      Makes 1 1/4 cups.

Greatest dressing ever made ..I need the recipe because im from Canada and El Pollo Loco is only in the us.. This is an awsome dressing.

I'm a huge fan of El Pollo Loco I go there often to have a salad with their Creamy Cilantro Dressing (I'm hooked) I made your recipe last night and WOW It's SOoOoOoO GOOD!!! Thanks for sharing :)
