I make this every year for Christmas. My friends and family look forward to receiving their candy. My mom was not a big sweet eater but she loved almond roca. As a child I remember the pink tin cans with the gold foil wrapped candy. When I first started making almond roca she was a little hesitant but once she tried it she was a true convert. She would request it throughout the year. She passed in 1999 but I always think of her when making this recipe. Not to forget the cost of the ingredients is so much less and the amount the recipe makes is so much more than the little pink can.

I live in one of the few countries where Almond Roca isn’t readily available. The hardest thing about this recipe is waiting for the chocolate to set. Love this!

I have made this and it is AMAZING! So easy to make! I shared with co-workers and they ate it all. I'm going to have to make another batch!!
