Tried this tonight and the potatoes were great - tender but not mashed up. They started to brown 10 minutes after uncovering so I had to cover them back up. The sauce evaporated quite a bit. After adding the cheese, I kept them on the counter and it melted perfectly. This recipe was under salted so I added more salt to the cream mixture. The end result was great, after stirring. Next time I will stir the mixture when adding cheese so it has a more uniform taste. Once stirred and more salt added, it was a wonderful side dish.
