I still have my stained and yellowed copy of "MORE Top Secret Recipes" that I bought at Costco back in 1994-95. There are so many good recipes in there! I remember flipping through the pages when I saw it and finding the recipe for El Pollo Loco grilled chicken, which for me was the Holy Grail of chicken recipes, and a closely guarded secret. I was so excited to try it, I bought the book and made the chicken that weekend. It was spot on! SO GOOD, and I had tried several "copy-cat" recipes from other sources that were not even close

I bought the first 2 books when I was 11 or 12, they taught me to cook all the things my parents wouldn't buy us or weren't available in our small town. I'm now nearly 36 and an ace in the kitchen in no small part thanks to Todd.

I bought this just for the cinnamon roll recipe. It's the best cinnamon roll recipe I've ever come across. Everyone loves them when I make them. Truly great!
