I used coconut oil instead of butter, did not have cream so I used evaporated milk; did not have nutmeg so I sprinkled a little pumpkin pie spice. It turned out delicious

This recipe was perfect, but I did make a couple modifications. I had some leftover heavy cream in the fridge I wanted to eliminate. I also added an extra tablespoon of minced garlic and doubled the pepper. Turned out EXCELLENT! Thank you for posting this. :)

Used fresh spinach instead of frozen and boiled it for a couple minutes first. Recipe was super easy and DELICIOUS. Will make again!

I made one little mistake and put in a half teaspoon of freshly ground pepper, yet it tasted a bit too salty to me. I used the correct amount of salt and freshly ground nutmeg. That addition, along with the increased pepper made this very good. I'll try it again with a bit less salt. Of course, I'll prepare it again.

I like spinach. I love this recipe. It takes spinach to a restaurant level. Amazing. I didn't have 1/2 and 1/2 so I used reduced fat believe it or not. My guests raved about the spinach. Who would have guessed?

I substituted beet greens that I had froze from my garden. It added beautiful color with out changing the taste. Needless to say, anyone that has ever turned their nose up at spinach or beet greens, now has their nose turned down licking their plate.

I WAS looking for the Boston Market recipe, but when I couldn't find it, I figured I'd give this one a try--OMG! It's SO good & SO easy. Thanks!

Oh my God, so awesomely delicious. My nieces, who hate spinach, beg me to make this. We make extra and use it in omeletes. It also freezes well and tastes just as great when thawed and reheated. It was the biggest hit of our Thanksgiving table.

Easy, quick, great for guest and a great snack. Tastes great with Hawaiian sweet bread.
