Ratings and Reviews of Cracker Barrel Eggs-in-the-Basket

Mine called them a "toad in the hole"...and they are now in their forties, and still remember these as treats for a Monday morning. I'm thinking a little cheese sauce, or shredded cheddar would be nice.

I followed the above recipe except I used the bread we had. It was delicious, just like Cracker Barrel's :)

I've Made these for years, very good. But I called them birds in a nest

I made this with regular wheat bread, but the results were still wonderful! Quite delicious...and super easy to make.
