We asked for the recipe for the raspberry preserves at Cheddar's:
16 oz of raspberries cover with one cup of sugar put in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Take out and mash with a potato masher. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and cook on top of stove at medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove the white foam off top with a spoon. Continuously Stir and do not walk away from stovetop while cooking. Add more sugar for more sweetness. Best served warm you can put leftovers entered fridge.
