This is one of my favorite Carl's Jr. menu items and I've ordered it many times. When I saw Todd's recipe in his 1994 book, "MORE Top Secret Recipes", I was thrilled. His version is SUPERB, and makes a really delicious sandwich. Our two sons used to ask me to make these when they were kids, and I still can't resist making these to this day! THANKS TODD!!!!!!

James is right -- cumin added to the sauce, and it's much closer. Thanks for the recipe, was craving a Sante Fe Chicken!

This probably is my most favorite sandwich! I worked at CJr when I was a teenager & ate these almost 3x a week. So I LOVE this recipe! Not exact...but pretty darn close!

I always tasted Cumin in Carl's Santa Fe Sauce so I added some to this recipe and it's much closer to the real deal now.

I have found that the key to this sauce is to let it mellow in the fridge. it's not amazing right after you make it.... nope. Let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours and it's GREAT.

This is nothing like the Carl's sauce, it was a lot lighter in color also. We use it for our fries. I was disappointed. It tasted ok but, way different.

Tastes nothing like the Sante Fe sauce. I was so excited because I'm not a fan of a lot of things at Carl's Jr but I looove the Sante fe sauce. I only used this recipe for the sauce and put it in a chicken wrap. It just tasted like curry powder and mayonnaise
