I've been preparing this drink "exactly" as described and love it! Every time I've served it to friends they loved it and begged for the recipe. I actually enjoy this BETTER than the Budweiser version and prefer to use Bud Light Platinum for the beer (it has higher alcohol content). Now that I think about it, I'm going to have a few tonight! Enjoy!

Add Tajin to the rim of the glass for a spicy lime flavor

Add celery salt in the rim of your glass w/ a celery stick. :)
Taste was poor and the alcohol content is only half of the Budweiser product.
Tastes like the real thing. Delicious!

I used Miller Lite instead of Bud and spicy V8 instead of Clamato; otherwise, I did everything else according to the recipe. It was amazing and refreshing all at once...
This tastes exactly nothing like Bud Chelada.

try and squeeze two fresh whole lemons into a 32 oz cup, with a dash of pepper half teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of picante clamato juice and stir and enjoy..make sure the bud is ice cold and the clamato juice is ice cold...
Try adding maggi made by jugo just a dash

There is a very popular drink in Mexico called the Michelada. It is very spicy and has very similar ingredients. I have been drinking Micheladas for many years and prefer them over drinking beer by itself. The is a good "not so spicy" version of the Michelada.
