I worked at Benihana and we used tomato paste not ketchup the rest looks right... For some reason I thought there was carrots in it.. I'll look for my recipe

This recipe is spot on in flavor! I didn't add the water per some people's advice and it was perfect without the water . To have this recipe is life changing I've always wanted it !!

Tweaked the recipe here and there but adding peanut butter made it that much better! I suggest trying it!

Made this precisely as describe. Not quite the Benihana ginger dressing but not bad. I really doubt they have Ketchup in their dressing. Also missing a hint of Orange or lemon peel...

Even better with extra ginger, a tad more sweetness and about a teaspoon of sesame oil to give it a bit more flavor.

I followed the recipe exactly EXCEPT I left out the water and I'm glad I did. It still has the same flavor without being too runny. (water adds no flavor of course) Great recipe!

I love the recipe the way it is but being a chef, I have also changed it up a bit. I doubled the ginger and garlic and used sweet soy sauce to give it a really tangy taste and it was more than awesome. I use it on salads, steaks, chicken, as a veggie dip and with grilled fish. It goes with everything.
