I get the Bourbon Street steak everytime I go to Applebees. This Marinade is Excellent in its own right but it does not compare to the Bourbon Street recipe. However it is an excellent Marinade for not only steaks but for Chicken and Pork as well....Great with Pork Tenderloins. Sorry Todd but its not a Bourbon Street.

I love this recipe!!!! Tastes just like the restaurant. I use this marinade when ever I cook steak of any kind. Works great will all cuts of beef.

Tripled the ingredients for 60 oz. of steak and marinated 12 hours. Flavor was good, but more a fajita flavor than expected. I never eat at Applebees, so I can't comment on closeness of clone. I rated it high because I will definitely use again; but next time for fajitas and marinate 24 hours.

I made this recipe for a birthday party, I tripled it. My house stank like garlic for 2 days but it was worth it. This recipe is GREAT. I used the marinade for porkchops 2 days later and they were fantastic. WORTH THE TROUBLE! (to make)~

I made it yesterday and it was very good. No oil and no vinegar or lemon juice in marinade... Try it, you would be agreeably suprise!

I LOVE Bourbon Street Steak so when this recipe came thru I made it for Memorial Day weekend. It was quite a success.

I used New York Strip steaks, marinating them for 24 hours and the flavor was throughout the meat. I received many compliments!

While I don't think that this tasted like Applebee's Bourbon Street Steak, we really enjoyed it and plan to make it again.

I am a Burbon Street Steak addict... I mean I get it every single time we go to Applebees, which is A LOT!! I almost fell off my chair when I saw this was the featured recipe, I couldn't print it out fast enough!!

Well... I was terribly disappointed in the "Clone factor" of the recipe, however, it was tasty... I'll give it that at least.

But as far as tasting like a Burbon Street Steak, not even close. I didn't even get a hint of the resemblance. I even followed the recipe TO THE LETTER, I even went to three stores trying to get the exact marinade brand because one store didn't carry it and one was out.

I would make it again, because it was a yummy flavor, but most definately NOT the original, not even close.

Anyone who is a true fan of Cajun will not like this steak. Because it isn't even close to Cajun. People in the northern states who do not know cajun will probably love it because it at least is not as bland as most steaks served in that part of the country. Overall, just another mediocre marinade, typical of the low quality usually found at Applebees.

Not Even Close. Sorry but something is definitely wrong or missing from this recipe. As one that has requested this recipe and eagerly awaited a home made version for years, this recipe really let me down (Unlike most TSR Recipes).

I have tried this recipe twice with different cuts of meat, and got the same mediocal result.. even after 18+ hours of marinating, you can tell the meat has been marinated, but the meat flavor is not even close to my favorite steak of all time. Seems the amount of spice is over-kill for two steaks -- I suspect in an attempt to compensate for the "Missing" flavor(s).

Here's to hoping for a better recipe!!!! (Sorry Todd!)
