I've never eaten Popeyes chicken before, but I made it for my friends who have eaten it they said it was darn close to the same thing. Please follow the recipe don't go adjusting anything until you've tried it.

This is SO awesome! I prefer their spicy recipe and adjusted accordingly by using two teaspoons of cayenne pepper to only one teaspoon of paprika and it turned out great. I also tried double breading but I don't recommend it. It ended up separating from the chicken and I wound up with these little spicy cakes floating around in the oil.
