This recipe is available in
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and place it over medium heat.
2. When the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool the sauce to room temperature, about 1 hour, before using.
Makes 1 cup.
