Sorry to differ but this recipe doesn't come close to Yonah Shimmel's because their knish is vegan - absolutely no meat or dairy - except if stated on their daily menu for the occasional one with cheese

i've eaten new york knishes and this is real close. good

Never been to Yonah Schimmel's, so I can't say if it's an accurate copy, but this is an excellent Knish recipe - absolutely dee-lish!
