This is a tastebud feast! I've been making this constantly for almost a year at this point and it's my absolute favorite burger recipe of all time! Todd worked some kind of culinary magic with this clone. The southwestern pepper sauce is outstanding and addictive almost instantly. I use seedless kaiser rolls straight from my grocery store bakery and trust me on this, Todd is right, the kaiser rolls are a key part of this recipe. The pepper sauce, the bacon, the red onion, and the Colby Jack cheese, combined with those rolls is an incredible blend of textures and soutwestern deliciousness. I bow to Todd's kitchen prowess on this one! Just made some tonight!

To me it doesn't quite taste like the sauce I remember, but it is AWESOME just the same. I keep a huge container of this in my fridge at all times now. It's GREAT on chicken sandwiches and nuggets as well. Next time I'm making this, I'm increasing the recipe enough to use a whole jar of mayo, since merely doubling this barely gets my family through one meal. This stuff is HEAVEN!

WOW...this was GREAT. I didn't expect alot more than a decent hamburger with a kick..it was GREAT.

Love the Southwestern sauce. We not only use it on hamburgers, but on the Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich too.
