Love the tangy flavor of this dressing! Doesn’t matter to me if the recipe isn’t 100% the same as Pizza Hut…it’s fresh and I highly recommend!

Ever since most of the Pizza Hut dine-in restaurants closed, I have been on a quest to find a recipe for their Creamy Italian Dressing. I don't think you could come any closer to the original than this. Thanks Todd!

This has been a strangely obsessive personal quest for nearly 30 years. I have concocted no fewer than a dozen different variants over those decades, ultimately to no avail. TODD YOU NAILED IT!!! The flavor profile is spot on. Persistent childhood memories through recently stolen ladle-fulls from Pizza Hut itself confirm this triumph! For those wanting to complete the journey . . . 2 small splashes of evoo and literally just 1/8 tsp (No more!) of xanthan gum will lend the perfect body, texture, and appearance to this faithful recreation. Bravo!

I had high hopes for this recipe as I miss the Creamy Italian at Pizza so bad... But I was greatly disappointed... Again....Tastes nothing like the restaurant dressing...... :(

This is extremely close in flavor to Pizza Hut’s original, even without the recommended MSG, which I didn’t have. I’m going to pick some up just for this. I love dipping leftover pizza in the original, now I can make my own at home! Thanks for doing the legwork!
