I made this last night for dinner. Todd, you nailed the recipe on this one! The flavor was perfect, the sauce delicious, and the recipe was quick and easy. I served it with brown rice and we loved it!

Never eaten at Panda Express but this is delicious... especially with fried rice.... if you use corn starch in place of arrowroot (I couldn't find any arrowroot) , use a little more corn starch... mine came out soupy so I doubled it ... then it was too thick.. but still delicious.

Overall, it had the flavor of the original, but was much too sweet. Next time I will use less sugar. I didn't have arrowroot, so I used cornstarch and it worked perfectly.

I loved this recipe - it tastes just like the original. It's quick and easy to make at home.

I found the sauce a little bit too sweet so I would use less sugar next time. The arrowroot did not thicken the sauce enough so I had to use cornstarch too. I further changed it by using chicken breast which I roasted in the oven for 30 minutes and then sliced and added to the sauce. The family liked it very much and even more importantly, it doesn't take long to prepare!!

My family thinks this tastes better than Panda Express's.
