Delicious recipe, followed it exactly. I would say it makes a lot more than it says, i used 4" tall ramekins and made 4 but it was overflowing over the side and made a realy tall cake. To make individual portions next time i will be using 1 recipe to make 8 cakes abt an inch tall .

I was searching for the perfect buttercake recipe. You cannot make this buttercake without the proper sized ramekins. When i made mines i used the recipe accordingly but left out the cheesecake layer and it still turned out amazing. Restaurant quality dessert for sure!

I baked this cake in an 8" round pan that was about 3-4" tall, it took a little longer than 50 minutes. About 55-60 minutes, but it was just like Mastro's and delicious. Also, I didn't have sour cream so I used greek yogurt.
