Forget Denise. This recipe is very close. Don’t leave out the bell pepper (I didn’t have any on hand) it makes a difference. I would cut the sesame oil down a tad (3/4 tsp) and add lime zest. This dressing is also delicious tossed with shredded cabbage to make a slaw for fish tacos.

This recipe is awesome! It is very authentic to Houston's own.. Houstone is close to my home...We love it! I have also made it with key lime juice and key lime oil & made the lime flavor more intense..Make sure to give it time in the microwave to cook and emulsify together..if its done correctly it will not seperate..I was just asked to bring salad for a dinner and the request was this dressing...its great!!

Tastes nothing like what it claims to be. I was very disappointed, since all of his other clones were right on.
