My parents and I aren't much of a meatloaf lovers, but since I had all of those ingredients in hand, I decided to give it a try. I've made many meatloaf recipes in the past, some were bland, dry, terrible, but this is a new favorite recipe. The meat was very moist and flavorful. Everyone loved it including my very picky mom that dislikes pork. I followed the other lady's suggestion about adding equal amount of brown sugar to the ketchup topping. It gave it so much flavor. Thanks Todd for another great recipe.

I've made this recipe a couple times, turned out great although can't recall if I ever ate it at a Claim Jumper as its been 30 years since I've been to one

I never make meatloaf because I couldn't find a recipe I liked. I took a chance with this recipe and made it for a dinner party. It was a hit! My husband is thrilled because he loves meatloaf and now I will make it more often. Thanks so much for the help! You are awesome!

This is the best. I don't have a big enough meatloaf pan so I shape it in an oval in the center of a 9x13 pan. I mix equal parts ketchup and brown sugar and spread it over the top and sides for the last hour of baking. I'm lucky to have any leftovers from it.
