I used to work at a Cinnabon, and this is pretty darn close. A good dough to use is puff pastry dough, which is easy to find int he refrigerated section. If you really want to taste like cinnabon, use Makara cinnamon. They use to sell it by the jar (but there may be other brands to find). For the coating I use a mix of cinnamon and sugar. And for the dip, just grab a jar of cream cheese frosting

My old time favorite. Can't wait to do it on my own. Thanks.

Much better using Phyllo dough. I made some and wolfed them down before my husband got any! Oops!

Dip in melted Butter first, then the cinnamon/sugar. Use Natural sugar,(the large brown, in color, chunks of sugar versus the cream colored one), instead of white sugar! Then you will get much better results.. Your family & friends will love them!

I've already made this recipe twice and they are GOOD! They don't cost me very much to make: since I already have the butter, sugar, cinnamon, and butter handy, all I have to do is buy the Pillsbury dough. But they're best eaten hot.

My 9 year old daughter loves to help make these. It is so easy and fun to do with with children. It taste so good; even better with coffee.
