I would really love to give this recipe 5 stars, but the recipe as written doesn't work, unfortunately! The batter does not stick to the shrimp, and the batter does not brown. I ended up having to take the tails off the shrimp and add them to the simmering sauce to cook. Also, the sauce recipe as written is pretty flavorless. I added a lot of extra salt and pepper, more lemon juice, and a boatload of freshly grated parmesan to make it more flavorful. After those changes, it was delish!

This was a moderately easy recipe to follow and it tasted fantastic. I have never tried the Cheesecake Factory dish, but this one was excellent. I enjoyed it very much and so did my family. I can recommend it to those who like fried shrimp and paste. The sauce was very tasty and enhanced the favor of the shrimp. It is a keeper and I will be making this again soon.

Made this tonight. It came out good. My bride liked it a lot. Kept telling me how tasty it was.
