Excellent! It's been impossible to find the Bellatini Gold though. I really think it would take it to the next level but I just have to use parmesan. I'll still be on the lookout for the Gold.

I made this tonight and OMG, so good!! My son agreed with his dad and I, about it being so much better than Chick-Fil-A! One tip, for those whose said 20 minutes of cooking made their noodles mushy, turn the heat down to medium. Twenty minutes of cooking on high will turn them to mush, but 20 minutes on med-low was perfect! This is my new mac n cheese!!

I made this recipe exactly as written using all the recommended cheeses. For my comparison, I purchased a side of Mac & Cheese from Chick-fil-A and taste-tested them side-by-side. This recipe tastes just like the original from Chick-fil-A! I left mine under the broiler a little longer to get a darker top. Also, the flavors taste even better after 24-hours. This recipe is a homerun!

I made this for my husband over Christmas, and he is the biggest Mac & Cheese snob there is...He thought this was BETTER than Chik-Fil-A's! Well Done Todd! Cooking the macaroni for 20 mins worked PERFECTLY! Everything was a HIT! I used 2% lactose-free milk and it didn't make a difference! I did put it under the broiler for 5 mins, and it came out marvelous! Picture perfect even. I can't wait to try the Monte Cristo for his Birthday!.

I will admit, when I began cooking, I was a bit skeptical. I was able to find all the ingredients (found them all at Jewel for those in the Midwest U.S.) and followed the recipe to a T. Then I tasted it after it cooled down....shocking and a gooey beautiful cheesy perfect dupe!!! I feel as if I did a blind taste right out the oven, with this recipe vs the original from Chick-fil-A, people would not know the difference (unless they were a chef maybe). Some advice, cooking the macaroni for 20 minutes makes it fall apart. When attempting to mix this with the cheese after letting it cool, I was scared the macaroni would fall apart, so I did not mix it too well. I would reduce this time to maybe 10-15 minutes.

Super Easy to make! Could not find BellaVitano Cheese, just added more Parmesan and Romano and used heavy whipping cream instead of whole milk. Came out PERFECT!!

Yep, this is it! Perfect. The BellaVentano cheese is hard to find so I couldn't use it, which made me sad. I really wanted to make it exactly as you described. I just added the parmesan as you suggested. But even so, this was a great match to chuck-fil-a. Thank you.
