Ah, if only kitchen cloning was an exact science. While working on this one I saw the same bartender make the drink two different ways on two different days. Only after a firm grilling did I get her to admit to her personal "improvement" to the chain's secret recipe. The official clone includes the ingredients found below. But if you want to add a little pineapple juice—as some independent thinking bartenders are apt to do—you might discover you have indeed created a tastier version of this refreshing smoothie. On that day the cloning gods shall be looking the other way. But, for heaven's sake, be sure your banana is soft and ripe.

Cinnabon gives lemonade a twist by adding strawberry syrup. Its a simple clone when you pick up some Hershey's strawberry syrup near the chocolate syrup in your supermarket, and a few juicy lemons. But if it's a caffeine buzz you're looking for, you'll want the Mochalatta Chill hack. Brew some double-strength coffee (see Tidbits), let it cool, then get out the half-and-half and chocolate syrup. Man, these are easy.

It was in 1995 that Starbucks stores started selling this frozen drink, one of the company's most successful new products. The Frappuccino is blended with strong coffee, sugar, a dairy base, and ice. Each one is made to order and each one is guaranteed to give you a throbbing brain freeze if you sip too hard. The drinks come in several different varieties, the most popular of which Ive cloned here for your frontal lobe-pounding, caffeine-buzzing pleasure.

Make double-strength coffee by measuring 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per cup serving in your coffee maker. The clone will be even more authentic if you use Starbucks beans and grind them yourself just before brewing.

These awesome Sonic ice cream shakes are unique—the graham cracker crumbs in the mix make them taste like a creamy chilled pie, crust and all. Delicious. You can either crumble up your own graham crackers or use the already ground stuff in a box that's often used to make graham cracker pie crusts.

I was having trouble getting the flavors just right for Lipton's bottled diet green tea, which has become such a big seller. Real lime juice wasn't cutting it, nor were any of the extracts or oils I tried. Then, one day, I stumbled onto a new product called True Lime. It's a crystallized lime substitute that's made with lime juice and lime oil, and it comes in 2.85-ounce bottles or in boxes of 40 packets. It can be found in the baking aisle of your local supermarket, and it can be used for cooking wherever lime juice is required, or you can dissolve it in beverages. Had I found my secret ingredient? After some experimenting, I discovered that the citric acid in True Lime adds just the right amount of acidic tang that we need for a clone that tastes like the original product (which also contains citric acid). Success! To make your own version of this popular bottled green tea, simply pour some boiling water over a couple green tea bags, add the other ingredients listed below, and you'll soon have a home-brewed clone of Lipton's hit drink. Pear vodka and pear nectar combine for big pear flavor in this refreshing martini hack from The Factory. If you can't find Torani passion fruit syrup, use passion fruit juice and a little simple syrup (see Tidbits). And be sure to chill the glass with ice and a little water before mixing.

Menu Description: "Our Original! Featuring Ciroc Snap Frost vodka, an all grape vodka, combined with red grape juice and accented with the sweet orange flavor of Cointreau and frozen red seedless grapes."

While other vodkas are made from potatoes, wheat, molasses, corn, or rye, Ciroc is the first vodka to be distilled from late harvest French grapes. These super sweet grapes and the 5-step distilling process makes this vodka unique and extra smooth, with a subtle fruity flavor that goes great with grape juice and the orange flavor of Cointreau. Plan ahead for this drink by piercing three red seedless grapes on a toothpick and popping them into the freezer for at least an hour. Make a few of these garnishes the next time you get grapes and keep them in a small bag in the freezer so you're ready when friends stop by for happy hour.

I found this Applebee's concoction to be an accommodating TV viewing companion. The combination of tequilas, juices and syrups serve in a chilled martini glass is a refreshing recreation of the classic tequila sunrise, and it never wants to change the channel.

Celebrate life with clones for two of Friday's delicious new martinis: the super tasty Pomegranate Martini features Pama, the first pomegranate liqueur, and the Candy Apple Martini that tastes like a liquid caramel apple—really good stuff. As with any properly prepared martini, be sure to chill each glass by filling it with ice before making the drink, and shake everything up with much fury and enthusiasm before pouring.
