I made this recipe from your book and it was so delicious. I don't really go out to eat since it's very expensive now, so I can't compare it to the original. It was time consuming for me when frying the chicken because I doubled the recipe and we have a small deep fryer, but it was worth it. My mom is very picky and never orders any sweet chicken like orange chicken from any restaurant because sometimes their chicken has too much skin and the it's not fresh etc, but she loved my chicken. Everyone loved it, it was a hit. I served it with the chow main noodles and made some boba tea too. Thanks Todd for another delicious recipe.

Spot on recipe Todd! My family thought this tasted just as good if not better than the original. Its a bit of work and time frying the chicken, but it's very much worth it.

This was good! I used honey from Viet Nam, that a friend gave me, but any honey will work well. There was plenty of sauce; perhaps a cup more than was needed. I didn't find it time consuming, but it did use a lot of dishes. I'll work on cutting dishes down next time now that I've got the flow figured out. Thanks for a delicious and fun to make recipe!
