If you love the flavor of fresh lime juice in your cocktails, here are clones for two fantastic signature drinks from America's most famous Chinese bistro chain. The first clone, for the Asian Pear Mojito, doesn't include pear juice at all. Instead, the flavors of lime juice, sour apple schnapps, citrus rum, and pineapple juice combine to create what bartenders claim is a refreshing pear-like flavor. Does it taste like pear to you? The second clone, for Chang's Key Lime Martini, (pictured here) uses a vanilla-flavored Spanish liqueur called Licor 43, combined with key lime juice and whipped cream to create an amazing liquid version of key lime pie. This one is more of a dessert drink. The restaurant uses bottled key lime juice which can be found at specialty stores such as Trader Joe's, or you can just squeeze your own limes. And if you can't track down Licor 43, I found that Tuaca liqueur substitutes nicely. Cheers.

Asian Pear Mojito
- 3 lime wedges
- 5 mint leaves
- 1 ounce DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps
- 1 1/2 ounces Bacardi Limon Citrus Rum
- Splash of pineapple juice
- Club soda
Mojito Garnish
- Sprig of mint
- 1 lime wedge
Chang's Key Lime Martini
- lime wedge
- Graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 ounces Licor 43 Liqueur
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 ounce key lime juice
- 3/4 ounce half-and-half
- 3 swirls of canned whipped cream
Martini Garnish
- Lime slice

Asian Pear Mojito
1. Dump three lime wedges and 5 mint leaves into a 16-ounce glass. Add the sour apple schnapps and muddle the ingredients until the juice is out of the lime wedges.
2. Fill the glass with ice, then add citrus rum, a splash of pineapple juice, and fill the glass the rest of the way up with club soda.
3. Add a sprig of mint and a lime wedge and serve.
Makes 1 drink.
Chang's Key Lime Martini
1. Rub a wedge of lime on the rim of a chilled 8-ounce martini glass. Turn the glass over onto a small plate of graham cracker crumbs until the rim is thoroughly coated with crumbs.
2. Measure Licor 43 into the martini glass.
3. Measure the sugar, key lime juice, and half-and-half into a cocktail shaker. Swirl the canned whipped cream three times around the inside of the shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake vigorously.
4. Strain the drink into the martini glass and garnish it with a thin slice of lime.
Makes 1 drink.

I have been looking for the key lime pie martini recipe everywhere and this is it!! It is so good and great to bring the ingredients to a party to impress the guests tastebuds. You can't just have one, lol.

I know the asian pear mojito is right on because I wheedled the recipe from the bartender..I LOVE that drink! YUMMY!
