Celebrate life with clones for two of Friday's delicious new martinis: the super tasty Pomegranate Martini features Pama, the first pomegranate liqueur, and the Candy Apple Martini that tastes like a liquid caramel apple—really good stuff. As with any properly prepared martini, be sure to chill each glass by filling it with ice before making the drink, and shake everything up with much fury and enthusiasm before pouring.

Think of all the fun you can have making more of your favorite drinks with these recipes.

Get This

Pomegranate Martini
  • 1 ounce Skyy Vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounces PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau Liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces Ocean Spray cranberry juice cocktail
Pomegranate Martini Garnish
  • Orange wedge
Candy Apple Martini
  • 1 ounce Stolichnaya Vanil Vodka
  • 2 ounces DeKuyper Pucker Sour Apple Schnapps
  • 1 1/2 ounces Hiram Walker Butterscotch Schnapps
Candy Apple Martini Garnish
  • Thin apple slice
  • Caramel sauce
Do This

Pomegranate Martini
1. Fill an 8-ounce martini glass with ice to chill it.

2. Drop a handful of ice into a cocktail shaker. Add vodka, liqueurs, and cranberry juice to the shaker, close it up and give it a real good shake. Really shake it like crazy, so that you get some tiny ice chips in your drink.

3. Pour the ice out of the martini glass, and then strain the drink into the glass.

4. Make a cut into the orange wedge and place it onto the rim of the glass. Serve it up or sip it yourself.

Makes 1 drink.

Candy Apple Martini
1. Fill an 8-ounce martini glass with ice to chill it.

2. Drop a handful of ice into a cocktail shaker. Add vodka and the schnapps to the shaker, close it up and shake it up good.

3. Pour the ice out of the martini glass, and then strain the drink into the glass.

4. Make a cut halfway through the apple slice, and then slide the apple slice onto the rim of the glass. Drizzle some caramel over the apple slice so that it drips down into the glass.

Makes 1 drink.

Won't drink another martini now that I have this one in stock in my kitchen!

We had a party christmas Eve and made the pom martini's. We used pomegranate juice (100% pom not mixed juice coctails) which streatches the liquor and also makes it less piquant. I think that the liqueuer will only make it sweeter.

The bartender was making these things faster than you could pour they were THAT good!
